Presumably about 10 thousand years ago, glacial formations came in motion, deepening and widening rivers and streams. So the right tributary of the Turgen Bozgul River tunneled through the rocks, creating a powerful, unique for Zailiisky Alatau waterfall called Kairak.
The Kairak waterfall is located in the Turgen Gorge and is considered the most beautiful and the highest in the gorge. The height of the waterfall is 55 meters.
On the way to the waterfall you can see tall trees that are over 80 years old. The waterfall is surrounded on both sides by rocky slopes, which are overgrown with forest.
