The lakes appeared as a result of tectonic shifts, which created the flooding of the valley and the formation of three reservoirs.

The color of the water of the lakes varies depending on weather conditions and sunlight. Tourists can see them turquoise, blue and even light green. The ecology of this place deserves special attention. A pristine forest surrounds them all around. The water temperature in the lakes never exceeds 10-12 degrees, so there is almost no swimming.

A trip to the Kolsai Lakes will especially appeal to those who love wildlife, hiking and clean mountain air. A weekend getaway to this place will provide an unforgettable experience and a health bonus.

Kayındı is known as the legend of the "Sunken Lake" excites the hearts and minds of many travelers around the world. Amazing history and picturesque panorama attracts tourists from all over the world.

By taking this tour you can learn about the unusual facts, legends and myths surrounding this place.

The high-mountain lake appeared in the spruce valley after the mudflow. The valley turned out to be filled with water. What is interesting, the spruces under the water are alive, the needles and branches are renewed every season. There are no fish in the lake, only tadpoles are permanent residents of this body of water.
